TOPAS-PRIME-HE is a high-energy femtosecond optical parametric amplifier (OPA) based on TOPAS-PRIME, featuring an additional high-energy and low-dispersion amplification stage, which allows using pump pulse energies of up to 60 mJ while maintaining the shortest possible output pulse.

 

*TOPAS-PRIME-HE accepts pump pulse energies of up to 15 mJ at 35 – 60 fs (up to 27 mJ at 100 – 200 fs).

*TOPAS-PRIME-HE-PLUS supports higher pump pulse energies, up to 35 mJ at 35 – 60 fs (up to 60 mJ at 100 – 200 fs). The 60 mJ pump pulse energy is achievable with longer pulse durations, around 150 fs.

 

Both models include wavelength extension options:

 

*TOPAS-PRIME-HE: Tunable from 189 nm to 20 μm.

*TOPAS-PRIME-HE-PLUS: Tunable from 240 nm to 20 μm.
